Rapid.Tech 2016

Rapid.Tech 2016 Strengthens its Reputation as AM Top Event
Show will be extended to three days from 2016
The Advisory Board for Erfurt’s 3D printing trade fairs has agreed unanimously to add an extra day to the Rapid.Tech and FabCon 3.D programmes from 2016. Rapid.Tech is becoming an increasingly significant event, and additive technologies are spreading into more and more industries.

Education, Electronics &Post-processing
The 2016 conference and exhibition themes would be expanded, with a particular focus on areas such as education, electronics and post processing.
This year, the atmosphere at Rapid.Tech 2015, FabCon 3.D and Erfurt Print Cocktail was more international than ever before. Together, the three trade fairs hosted 3,971 (2014: 3,500) trade visitors from 15 different countries, as well as exhibitors from nine countries and 80 speakers from eight countries.

Around 40% of the trade visitors had travelled over 300 kilometres to attend. Trade visitors from 14 different industries were in attendance, around 75% of whom were decision-makers in their companies. The high scientific quality of the conference programme was demonstrated by the fact that 40% of the trade visitors worked in research and development.
Rapid.Tech 2016: Specialist AM Event
More and more companies are using the specialist events in Erfurt as a venue for product launches as it is truly one of the most important events for the additive manufacturing industry. Other trade fairs have smaller areas where 3D printers are exhibited, but the combined conference and trade fair makes Rapid.Tech completely unique.
