Shaping Matter Event 2015: Design For Low Volume Production

Industrial Design Center organises for the 3rd time in its history the ‘Shaping Matter Event’. The actual edition fully focusses on ‘design for small series’.

What kind of materials and processes can be selected for small series? How do you handle designs, what kind of creativitytools are available…? Designers, companies and research centra, all having their own vision on design for small series, will inspire with some of their work.

The event is an excellent opportunity to get in touch with distributors, manufacturers and users of a variety of technologies, materials and techniques. Joining the event is free, but an upfront registration is required.

Upfront and during the break you can also visit the Exposition in the Industrial Design Center featuring various graduate projects of the Master Industrial Design (UGent Campus Kortrijk) and the Bachelor Industrial Product Design (Howest).
